Meskipun masih lama untuk dirilis di Indonesia, namun Mazda Motor Indonesia (MMI) selaku ATPM mobil mazda di Indonesia sudah mebuka pemesanan salah satu SUV terbaik mereka yaitu “Mazda CX-5”. Mobil dengan desain crossover tersebut telah diperkenalkan dalam Frankfurt Motor Show beberapa waktu yang lalu. Di Amerika mobil ini juga telah lulus dalam sebuah pengujian yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Keselamatan Jalan Raya Amerika Serikat (IIHS), hal itu menunjukkan bahwa kendaraan ini memiliki tingkat keselamatan yang tinggi untuk penggunanya.

Mobil Mazda CX-5 ini memiliki desain yang modern serta futuristic. Berbagai teknologi terbaru juga telah ditempelkan disana. Sebut saja fitur Smart City Brake Support (SCBD) adalah sebuh teknologi pengerimana yang memadukan sensor yang mampu membaca objek beberapa meter didepan, sehingga bila ada sebuah objek yang dianggap menghalangi jalan yang ditangkap oleh sensor ,maka mobil secara otomatis akan mengerim. Fitur tersebut berfungsi pada saat mobil melaju pada kecepatan 4-30 km/jam. Fitur ini akan mampu menghindarkan atau setidaknya mengurangi kerusakan yang berlebih bila kecelakaan terjadi. Kendaraan ini didukung dengan mesin 2000cc yang mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 155 hp.
